Arrangements have been concluded for the rescheduled Uyo Senatorial District Caucus meeting. The meeting, which was rescheduled to allow for wider consultation, will now hold today Saturday November 16th, 2013 by 10am at Sheer Grace Arena, Nsikak Eduok Avenue, Uyo.
Accordingly, the Senator representing Akwa Ibom North East Senatorial District, Otuekong Ita Enang, has invited the Speaker, Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Elder Sam Ikon, the State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Obong Paul Ekpo, Emeritus Senators and former members of the House of Representatives from the district to the meeting.
Others are serving members of the House of Representatives, Mr. Dan Akpan, Mr. Emmanuel Ekpenyong, Obong Kenneth Archibong, former Ministers and Chiefs from the district.
Also invited are members of the State House of Assembly, Commissioners, Special Advisers, Local Government Chairmen and Councilors from the District.
Senator Enang has also extended invitation to the former members of the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Former Commissioners, the Chairmen, Vice Chairmen, Youths and Secretaries, Women Leaders of Uyo Senatorial District, Chapter Chairmen and Secretaries, chapter youth leaders of Uyo Senatorial District of PDP, Uyo Senatorial District Elder’s Council, Ibibio Elder’s Forum, the Leadership of Mboho Mkparawa Ibibio, political leaders and PDP elders from Uyo Senatorial District.
A statement by Senator Ita Enang says attendance to the meeting is strictly by invitation.
