While he was Junior Secondary Class 2, he joined the church choir in Lagos where he received the baptism into the world of gospel music, he horned his skills traversing various choirs including Foundation of Life Choir and the TREM choir.
Hard work, diligence and commitment to his art and music has elevated him over the years to the status of Music Director of The Redeemed Evangelical Mission TREM, Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, from where he joined and Living Faith Church (Winners chapel), Abakaliki, Ebonyi State as the incumbent Music Director.
Obong-eren Ubong Uduak is a graduate of the University of Uyo, with a bachelor’s degree in Architecture and a professional certification in Project Management.
He hails from Ekom Iman in Etinan Local Government Area of Akwa-Ibom state. This 29 years old gospeller is the first of three children born to the family of Cdr. U. S. Obong-eren (rtd) and Mrs. Alice Obong-eren.
He lives and works in Ebonyi State, produces and presents programmes on radio and on television at Ebonyi Broadcasting Corporation while still practicing Architecture. He is the organizer of the yearly concert “Gospel According to RnB”.
The concert premiered in Akwa Ibom in 2006, with the sophomore edition taking place this year on March 23 in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State.
