Campus Star and fast rising singer, Sleekee alias Mr. Promo has released the video of his hit single ‘Miss Akwa Ibom’.
His real names are Ubong Godwin Akwaowo, studying Music at the University of Uyo. After underground work, and promotion of the audio on campus, internet and radio, Sleekee told our reporter that the video for the song is ready to hit the air waves this Easter.
In the song ‘Miss Akwa Ibom’, Sleekee moves to celebrate the beauty and personal dignity of the Akwa Ibom woman irrespective of age or class.
A native of Ikono L.G.A in Akwa Ibom state, he prides himself as Song Writer, Singer and Musicologist.
The last ASUU strike, he said, availed him some time to attend shows in view of promoting the song which he dedicates to damsels from his state of origin.
Talk about doing music full time; that is, studying music in school, and performing as an artiste, Sleekee combines both and manages them well.
Currently with iSTRiTZ Entertainment, after studies, Sleekee hopes to add zest and content to the quality of music and musicians heard from this part of the globe.
