ICE KID NOW ICE KYD…WARMS UP FOR 2ND ALBUM UNVEILING

Our lens caught up with Otuekong Ikwo Akwa Ibom as prepares for the release of his sophomore album come September 14th at popular celebrity hangout-2nd Baze-Uyo. He is dubbed one of the most successful artistes from this part of the country, rising from grass to grace through music. In Akwa Ibom, he is a music friend of the Governor and other top politicians and big wigs, in Bayelsa, his fans call him Egberi Papa of Akwa Ibom, same in other Niger Delta states where his music is very popular.

Born, schooled and brought up in Eket, Ikpe Kiddy popularly known as Ice Kid is gearing up for the release of his 2nd album to be titled EVER GREEN to be released on his self owned NATURAL RECORDS, with digital studio in Eket and news of his yet to be signed artiste ‘Abel Jay’.

Ice Kid told journalists recently in Uyo that he is about to make a musical statement that will remain forever green in the minds of those who come across it. The EVER GREEN album is scheduled for release in September, and will contain hits like ‘Ima Mmi’, ‘Silver Jubilation’, ’DADA’, and ‘One Love’ with a video already on rotation on Soundcity TV.

With EVER GREEN album, Ice Kid moves to show his musical maturity with his lyrical content and message. After the launch of his 2nd album, Ice Kid is also billed to perform at the Silver Jubilee event in Lagos, and alongside WizKid at the much publicized Monty Fun Festival scheduled for September 21st.
