Leonardo DiCaprio arrived the other day at the Berlin Film Festival, but right as he was making his entrance in the theater, he was attacked by a man who dropped to his knees and gave him a very tight “crotch hug.”
The man was later identified as Vitalii Sediuk, an Ukrainian TV presenter known for pranks like this one.
He most recently pulled a similar one at the SAG Awards 2014, when he threw himself at Bradley Cooper’s feet and buried his face in his crotch.
Before that, he had thrown water at Tom Cruise at a movie premiere, and kissed Will Smith on the lips on the red carpet, while doing an interview with him.
Just like Bradley, Leonardo chose to see the funny side in the incident, laughing it off after security removed Vitalii.
Reports say that he might have even tried to unzip Leo’s fly but, if he did, the actor didn’t showing any signs of it.
Sediuk was taken by security away and removed from the premises.
He was not arrested.
For the record, never once was he charged for the so-called “pranks” he pulled on celebrities.
Will Smith though received a lot of criticism online for slapping him when he kissed him on the lips.
