Until his death, Ifiok Edoho a.k.a MC SAJ was an entertainer whose emergence took the industry by surprise.
As CEO of Fun City Shows, he left no stone unturned in making sure he re-defined the entertainment industry; he was focused on his dreams.
Listening to Atlantic 104.5 FM during Jolly-Jolly and Combined Service radio shows, you will easily spot out MC SAJ distinctive voice amongst co-presenters.
He was a regular MC with Playground Relaxation Spot and Star Lager Beer Xmas Shows.
His untimely exit has shocked the microphone industry.
Since the news of his death went public last week Friday, rumors have been roving like wild fire.
Many claims he had an accident and the bus he traveled with back from Benin tumbled into a nearby river, some school of thoughts believe he was beaten and butchered by some gang members before being thrown into the river.
Many also claim, the late MC visited the stream on “Usen Ibet”, a day people are forbidden from bathing in the river.
First hand information from his friend and eye witnesses reveal that late MC SAJ was scheduled to anchor a student night at Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic but on arrival, the organizers offered a price not good enough for him.
He decided to check on his friends who reside in Ikot Ekpene LGA where he met his waterloo.
MC SAJ got drowned while swimming in a nearby river.
As a mark of respect to the fallen hero, the helmsman of COMEDIANS INTERNATIONAL – Akwa Ibom State, Comedian Sir James, has collaborated with the deceased family, management of Playground Relaxation Spot and Atlantic 104.5 FM to organize a “Candle Night” procession in honor of the departed Master of Ceremonies on Sunday 2nd March 2014 at Playground along Brooks Street.
