Miss Goodnews Edem Okon
Miss Goodnews Edem Okon, a Pharmacist graduate of the University of Uyo will alongside others be inducted/oath taking as a certified Pharmacist by the Pharmacist Council of Nigeria, PCN, on Wednesday, 15th October 2014 at Onyema Ugochukwu Auditorium, University of Uyo, Time: 10.am.
Goodnews, an indigene of Ikot Anie Itam in Itu Local Government area has cordially invited, friends and well wishers to join her in celebrating such an auspicious moment in her life.
Speaking with INSIDEAKWAIBOM.COM, Miss Goodnews who could not hide her joy described her FIVE years sojourn in the University of Uyo as a very challenging moment in her life, saying it was not easy as it got to a point she almost backed out from the course.
While appreciating God for seeing her through in the course, the young pharmacist specifically thanked her mother, Mrs. Ako Okon, brothers, and sisters for the support and encouragement they gave her while in the school.
Beaming with smiles on her face, the jubilant Goodnews, said she would not fail to thank her friend Engr. Solomon Eyo for always being there to inspire her. She would not also fail to mention her lecturers including Dr. John Udobang, Dr. Jude Okokon and Dean Faculty of Pharmacy, Vice dean, departmental heads, other lecturers and non-academic staff in the Faculty of Pharmacy.
The reception holds immediately after the induction ceremony at the Family House, Ndito Boys and Girls Organisation, Ewet Housing Estate, Uyo by 2pm.
