Ikpa Road from Ekpanya Street to Ikpa junction by Itu road has been closed to traffic till Friday 20th December, 2013 to allow for the installation of the pedestrian foot bridge between University of Uyo Annex and the Main Campus.
For safety reasons, motorists have been advised to use alternative roads as no vehicle will be allowed to ply the road during the period.
Motorists going to University of Uyo Annex have therefore been advised to use Ikot Ekpene road gate while motorists going to University of Uyo Main Campus should use the first gate.
An official statement from the Ministry of Works signed by the Information Officer, Nene Albert, for the Commissioner regrets any inconveniences the closure may cause members of the public.
