Sir James Celebrates Birthday with the Less-Privileged

Fast rising South South comedian who doubles as chairman of COMEDIAN INTERNATIONAL, an apex body for comic talents in Akwa Ibom State, James Emmanuel Essien better known as Sir James, has decided to honor children at the motherless babies home in his state, during his birthday.

The comedian who is currently the most decorated comedian in Akwa Cross was a year older on June 2nd 2014, stormed the Special Children’s home along IBB way, located close to the E-library, in Akwa Ibom state, with lots of gift items worth thousands of Naira along with some friends and dance hall artiste, Pastor Goody Goody who spiced up the occasion with some of his kids track songs to entertain the kids.

According to Sir James, children are gift from God and as such, once they are being neglected and someone decides to take care of them, it is important that we try to contribute to their up keep also.

It is not easy for a woman to walk nine months with pregnancy, give birth to the child and decide to abandon him or her.

People just need to respect God and do things the right way, he added.

The celebration features riddles & jokes, special numbers, dance competitions amongst boys & girls, poems etc.

The high point of the three (3) hours event was a special prayer for the celebrant by the children.

Entertainment figures in the mold of Nollywood’s movie director, Moses Eskor, Chairman DJ’s Association in Akwa Ibom State DJ PeeJay, Personal Assistant to the Governor on Media Essien Ndueso, Nigeria’s youngest editor Ifreke Nseowo, PMAN State Chairman Comrade Jeremy Ekong, Bobby Frigga, Music producer Double D etc graced the event.
